Dear
Sandia Hearing Aids,
Just
a short note to say thank you for the great service. Everyone at Sandia
Hearing Aids is super courteous and very helpful. It is a real pleasure
knowing that there are some businesses that still know what "customer
service" is all about. Again, thank you all for the great service.
The
new set of hearing aids made a very big difference in my ability to
hear a lot more clearly. I no longer say "Huh?" after someone
speaks to me. To be honest, if I had known how much was missing, I would
have gotten these hearing aids years ago! Even my wife is really glad
that I have these hearing aids, if for no other reason, the volume on
the television is at a normal level now.
I'm
sure that there are a lot of folks that have heard the old misconception
that hearing aids won't help with tone deafness. I know, I was one of
them. To these folks I say -- just try a set and see for yourself, you
have nothing to lose and a lot to gain -- better hearing!
I
guess what I'm trying to say is -- I am very satisfied with not only
the hearing aids, but all of the staff at Sandia Hearing Aids. I have
already referred several family members to you and a few non-family
friends as well, and I will continue to do so. If you ever have someone
that wants to talk to me about hearing aids, feel free to give them
my name.
Sincerely,
R.

Dear
Sandia Hearing Aids,
Hearing
is perhaps taken for granted until we lose it; and at first we may think
people are just mumbling, or not speaking clearly.
I
remember when I was a 23 year-old secretary, my boss told me he thought
I was losing my hearing and I told him that maybe I was, but to myself
I thought, "If you would just speak out loud instead of mumbling,
I could hear you."
A
few years later, after my first born, I chose to be a stay-at-home mom.
Each day when my husband came home for lunch, he would turn the radio
down and I could hardly hear it at all. Finally, I went to our local
Ear, Nose and Throat doctor and had my hearing tested. At first the
Doctor teased that I just thought I couldn't hear, but after the test
he agreed that I had a real loss.
At
the time the only place for surgery was so far away that I postponed
it and settled for one of the early hearing aids made by Zenith. It
was fastened to my clothing and a little wire ran around my neck and
to the ear. "Noisy" was not the word for it, but I used it
at Church and other functions where I needed to hear. Even my clothing
was noisy rubbing against it.
Then,
my doctor told me I might be a candidate for the Stapes operation being
done at Lovelace Clinic in Albuquerque, and I went for it. I tested
out for a positive procedure, but it did not work. The surgeon did it
over and it still did not work. He then did my other ear and it worked,
but was gone within a year.
By
that time I was past 60 years old and have been wearing all-in-the ear
hearing aids ever since. I am now bumping 80 years old. If you need
help hearing, by all means get one. You will have to adjust to being
able to hear, but stay with it, you will really enjoy it.
Sincerely,
M.E.

Dear
Sandia Hearing Aids,
As
an outfitter, writer and wildlife photographer constantly on the go
in the outdoors, I want my hearing to be as good as possible. The durability
and dependability of my digital hearing aids from Sandia have more than
met the challenge. The friendly and expedient service provided by Mark
Daniels and the personnel at Sandia on the rare occasions when my hearing
aids needed servicing makes this one of the best investments I've made.
